  3. If the sound item is checked, then the sound named "EjectSound" in QuickFormat!'s resource fork will be played when a disk is ejected. In addition, the computer will beep when a previously initialized disk was inserted and the "Auto Erase Disks" option is not checked.

  7. You can substitute the eject sound by using ResEdit.   Just replace the sound labeled "EjectSound" already in QuickFormat!'s resource fork with the sound of your choice. Sounds are kept in the resource of type 'snd '.  The new sound must be given the same name or it will not be played.

  9. CAUTION:  When working with ResEdit, NEVER work on the original copy!
